VNI Finance is delighted to be exclusively engaged by our client in Glasgow city centre to recruit a newly created Finance Analyst on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. The role will report directly to the Finance Director and play a key part in bringing finance closer to operations. This would suit a part-qualified individual who is keen to work in a supportive environment, with the possibility of the role becoming permanent after the initial 6 months.
Role Overview
- Ownership and analysis of monthly P&L performance, providing clear commentary and insight
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, including variance analysis and scenario modelling
- Business partnering with operational and non-finance stakeholders to drive performance
- Develop and implement new financial processes and reporting frameworks
- Improve quality and consistency of management information
- Assist in identifying cost efficiencies and revenue opportunities
- Support the Finance Director on ad hoc analysis and strategic projects
Candidate Background
- Part Qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ICAS)
- Experience in a financial analysis, management accounting or commercial finance role
- Strong understanding of P&L and financial drivers
- Confident communicator, able to engage and influence stakeholders
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work in a newly created/evolving environment
- Strong Excel skills and comfortable working with data
