We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative. You will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:
- Litter picking in streets, parks and public areas
- Sweeping pavements, footpaths and gutters
- Emptying public litter and dog waste bins
- Removing graffiti and fly-posters
- Reporting fly tipping or hazardous waste
- Supporting waste collection teams when required
- Following all health and safety procedures and using PPE appropriately
Requirements:
- A good level of physical fitness (outdoor, manual work in all weather conditions)
- Previous experience working outdoors is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and proactive approach
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good time management and reliability
