Recycling Officer
Temporary, Full Time
£30.00 per hour PAYE PLUS HOLIDAY PAY
My Client is seeking a Recycling Officer for a 6 month temporary assignment.
You will be based on site 5 days per week at their Clacton office.
Responsibilities:
- Daily compliance monitoring of the waste and recycling contractor
- Customer and contractor engagement and education to promote all aspects of recycling and waste minimisation
- Attending meetings with contractors
- Auditing of communal bin stores sites and installation of additional recycling provisions, customer engagement and education
- Introducing, supporting and promoting food waste collection provisions to communal properties
- Container deliveries to households
- Handling public contact via telephone and emails, as well as undertaking administrative and operational tasks to support the effective and efficient operation of the waste and recycling service
About you:
- Experience in waste management is essential
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to develop excellent working relationships
- Full driving licence essential and access to personal vehicle
