The post holder will work under the direction of the Operational Supervisor and will contribute to the effective delivery of street cleansing and environmental services across the area. Role Purpose The post holder will: * Assist with the supervision and coordination of a team of Street Cleansing Operatives, undertaking a variety of environmental cleaning activities across public highways, open spaces, car parks, town centres and other designated areas. * Work independently or as part of a team to maintain public areas to a high standard, helping to ensure they remain clean, safe and presentable for residents, businesses and visitors. * Take ownership of the standard of work undertaken and ensure that services are delivered efficiently, consistently and in line with operational requirements. * Provide assistance as a reversing banksman when required, in accordance with relevant safety procedures. Key Responsibilities 1. Working Arrangements Work within the operational service hours, normally between 06:00 and 20:00 Monday to Friday. The role may also involve weekend and bank holiday duties according to an established rota. Additional contractual overtime may be required to support operational demands. 2.
