Lunchtime Supervisor – Primary School Location: Hemel Hempstead Hours: 11:30am – 1:30pm, Monday to Friday Contract: Ongoing Temporary – at least until October half term Start: ASAP We are looking for a friendly and reliable Lunchtime Supervisor to join a beautiful little Primary School in Hemel Hempstead. This is an ongoing temporary position, running at least until the October half term, with the possibility of continuing beyond this depending on the school’s needs. The hours are 11:30am–1:30pm each day, Monday to Friday. The role will include: • Supervising pupils during lunchtime, both in the dining area and playground • Encouraging positive behaviour and creating a happy and safe lunchtime environment • Supporting younger children where needed during lunch • Supervising play and helping pupils interact positively with one another • Managing minor incidents and reporting any concerns to the appropriate member of staff • Following the school’s safeguarding, behaviour and health & safety procedures We’re looking for someone who is: • Friendly, caring and approachable • Confident working with Primary-aged children • Reliable and able to commit to 11:30am–1:30pm, Monday to Friday • Calm and confident when managing behaviour • Able to work well as part of a school team • Previous experience working with children or within a school would be beneficial This is a lovely opportunity for someone looking for a few hours of work each day within a welcoming Primary School.
