7.5T Drivers Required – Bulky Waste

We are recruiting reliable 7.5T Drivers for a busy non-food bulky waste collection operation in North Northamptonshire.

This is strictly a non-food role.

Drivers will be collecting bulky household items such as furniture, appliances and other household waste.

No food delivery or food handling is involved.

Duties

  • Drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle safely and responsibly.
  • Collect bulky household waste from residential properties.
  • Load furniture, appliances and other bulky items.
  • Work as part of a collection team.
  • Carry out daily vehicle safety checks.
  • Report vehicle defects and operational issues.
  • Transport collected waste to the designated facility.
  • Follow health and safety procedures.
  • Deal professionally with members of the public.
  • Carry out manual handling duties.
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Requirements

  • Valid C1 / 7.5T driving licence.
  • Valid Driver CPC.
  • Previous 7.5T driving experience.
  • Good knowledge of vehicle safety.
  • Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling.
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Previous bulky waste, refuse, removals or similar experience is desirable.
