We are seeking an experienced VMware VCF Consultant to join a specialist consultancy team delivering enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure and automation solutions. This role is ideal for a highly skilled VMware professional with deep expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and a passion for helping organisations maximise the value of their virtualisation and private cloud investments.
As an Associate Consultant, you will work across a range of customer engagements, leading the design, deployment, optimisation, and automation of VMware environments. Project requirements may vary depending on customer needs, providing exposure to diverse and technically challenging assignments.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and architecture of VMware Cloud Foundation solutions.
- Deploy and configure VMware Cloud Foundation environments.
- Deliver upgrades and migrations, including planning for and implementing VCF9 Capabilities.
- Develop and implement automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Enhance and customise existing VCF deployments to maximise platform capabilities.
- Provide technical leadership and best-practice guidance across VMware technologies.
- Collaborate with customers and project teams to deliver successful outcomes.
- Support solution documentation, knowledge transfer, and technical governance activities.
- Proven experience as a VMware Consultant, Architect, or Principal Consultant.
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 5).
- Current VCP-VCF certification (mandatory).
- Demonstrable experience preparing for or working towards VCF9 certification and adoption.
- Experience designing and deploying enterprise VMware solutions.
- Strong understanding of VMware infrastructure, virtualisation, and cloud technologies.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- VMware Aria Automation (formerly vRealize Automation).
- VMware Aria Operations (formerly vRealize Operations).
- Additional VMware certifications and specialisations.
- Automation and scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, JavaScript).
