We require Inspector Drivers to appraise and deliver a variety of vehicles across the UK. Our experienced planning team will plan and offer you assignments, based on your previous delivery location, availability and licence type and we publish target moves and route plans before you accept, so you know how your day pays. We operate within DVLA trade-plate rules (roadworthy & valid MOT) and set clear customer-service expectations. Safety and compliance first and require individuals with a can-do professional attitude, patience, an eye for detail and a true understanding of what customer service is.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and deliver a variety of vehicles across the UK as part of a self-employed contractor role.
  • Follow route plans and schedules provided by our planning team; accept assignments based on location, availability, and licence type.
  • Maintain safety and compliance in all activities.
  • Provide excellent customer service and professional conduct on every interaction.
  • Record vehicle condition and related details using our inspection app when applicable.

A Week in the Life (Trade Plate Inspector Driver)

New and existing schedules are variable: Monday includes independent travel to first collection, vehicle inspection, and potential overnight stays near next day’s collection location. Tuesday to Friday follow the rhythm: Collect, inspect and deliver across the UK, record details using our app, and may involve overnight stays up to 3-4 nights per week depending on location and availability.

Requirements

  • Full driving licence (Max 6 penalty points with no DR/CD/DD/TT99 endorsement codes)
  • Valid driver CPC and Digi-tacho card
  • Right to work in the UK and ability to pass a DBS check
  • Overnight flexibility
  • Professional conduct and commitment to excellent customer service
  • Comfortable using public transport between jobs and walking 1-3 miles as needed
  • Vehicle inspection experience is advantageous but not necessary (training provided)
