We are looking for a collaborative pitch driver to join our tight knit UK Growth team and play a key lead in the growth of VML UK. Working in VML’s integrated new business and marketing team, you will partner closely with all departments across the business, the leadership team and UK Group Chief Growth Officer. As New Business Manager, you will be a key player in driving pitches (both Organic and New Business) end to end, involved in all areas of pitch management, whilst running key business development initiatives.

The attitude and approach to this role is, in many ways, as important as the experience and skills you possess – you will need to be a self-starter and be prepared to interface with all departments in the agency to gather the support required. The right candidate will need to possess bags of energy and drive and demonstrate a passion for developing the agency and new business. Outstanding organisational skills are an absolute essential – as are forward planning and attention to detail. The ability to manage complex workloads and absolute adherence to deadlines are key.

What you will be doing:

  • Leading and managing the completion of the pitch process from end to end working with business leads in the UK and EMEA.
  • Taking a strategic role in reviewing the content and ensuring we are answering the brief, adding value and have a clear USP.
  • Monitor new business tracking, reporting, and revenue pipeline and leads.
  • Overseeing our internal tools and collateral management and AI Agents.
  • Supporting in the development of transformational growth cases.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the industry.
  • Networking and support working with our intermediary and wider partners, attending conferences and networking events as needed to inform the wider agency.
  • Supporting our ABM strategy for lead generation and pitch prospecting.
  • Identify and research target prospects and develop outbound prospecting strategies with the local markets to deliver against their business development ambitions.

We believe the best work happens when we’re together, fostering creativity, collaboration, and connection. That’s why we’ve adopted a hybrid approach, with teams in the office an average of four days a week. We are committed to fostering a culture of respect in which everyone feels they belong and has the same opportunities to progress in their careers.
