Position Summary:
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the organisation of your account teams; actively participating by devising and implementing projects and timelines and taking responsibility for driving specific activities.
Responsibilities:
- You will be supporting the Senior Account Manager and Account Director by managing your designated accounts, taking ownership to ensure projects are implemented efficiently and on time.
- Collaborating with cross-functional agency teams, to ensure that all individual projects are proactively, creatively, and efficiently managed through the agency following a client brief and are ultimately delivered to an exceptional standard within the agreed timeframe.
- Managing the day-to-day running of account(s).
- Providing clear and accurate briefings to everyone involved with project implementation.
- Ensuring regular client update or programme/project progress, and manage any changes to planned activities that may occur.
- Responsible for regular client contact, and prompt and accurate contact/action reports within 24 hours of meeting/discussion.
- Responsible for estimating, billing, and awareness of budgetary status.
- Participating in developing new business pitches.
- Supervising junior members of the team on a day-to-day basis.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience as a Senior Account Executive within a healthcare advertising agency environment will be a big advantage.
- Experience in healthcare and digital-first approach will be a big advantage.
- Have an interest in healthcare and enjoy being part of a collaborative team.
- Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Be an active listener and proactively seek out information and problem solve.
- Be naturally collaborative, work well within a team but also be able to work independently.
- Adhere to deadlines and flag any potential issues in advance.
