Position Summary:

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the organisation of your account teams; actively participating by devising and implementing projects and timelines and taking responsibility for driving specific activities.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be supporting the Senior Account Manager and Account Director by managing your designated accounts, taking ownership to ensure projects are implemented efficiently and on time.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional agency teams to ensure that all individual projects are proactively, creatively, and efficiently managed through the agency following a client brief and are ultimately delivered to an exceptional standard within the agreed timeframe.
  • Managing the day-to-day running of account(s).
  • Providing clear and accurate briefings to everyone involved with project implementation.
  • Ensuring regular client updates or programme/project progress, and manage any changes to planned activities that may occur.
  • Responsible for regular client contact, and prompt and accurate contact/action reports within 24 hours of meeting/discussion.
  • Responsible for estimating, billing, and awareness of budgetary status.
  • Participating in developing new business pitches.
  • Supervising junior members of the team on a day-to-day basis.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience as a Senior Account Executive within a healthcare advertising agency environment will be a big advantage.
  • Experience in healthcare and digital-first approach will be a big advantage.
  • Have an interest in healthcare and enjoy being part of a collaborative team.
  • Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Be an active listener and proactively seek out information and problem solve.
  • Be naturally collaborative, work well within a team but also be able to work independently.
  • Adhere to deadlines and flag any potential issues in advance.
  • Be curious about our business, the world at large and what is going on around you.
  • Display a keen interest in health and pharmaceutical global communications and a good understanding of the environment in which we work.
  • Be self-motivated and well organised.
  • Be able to work on multiple projects and demonstrate good time management skills.
