VMI TV Ltd is looking for an ambitious early-career commercial operator to join a growing camera rental and production services business at an important stage of expansion. This is a hands-on role for someone who is numerate, commercially sharp, highly organised and hungry to learn how a business is built, scaled and improved from the inside. You will report to a board that is made up of Private Equity and successful global entrepreneurs.
You will work closely with senior leadership across finance, operations, commercial strategy, client relationships, reporting and growth. The role would suit a high-calibre graduate or early-career candidate who wants more responsibility, more exposure and a faster learning curve than a traditional corporate graduate scheme. It is a commercial, operational and analytical role for someone who wants to understand the whole business and grow into increasing responsibility over time.
Ideally the candidate can drive (to attend film shoots across the UK) and lives within easy commuting distance to the Borough of Ealing in West London. You will work across core areas of the business, including:
- Supporting financial analysis, budgeting, reporting and performance tracking
- Helping senior leadership understand commercial performance and business priorities
- Analysing sales, utilisation, margins, costs and operational data
- Working on strategic projects, business planning and growth initiatives
- Helping integrate and improve processes across the business
- Taking ownership of projects that have a direct impact on performance
Confident using Excel and comfortable working with numbers. Able to turn data and information into practical recommendations. Interested in business, entrepreneurship, growth and value creation. This role may suit someone with a background in business, economics, finance, accounting, consulting, operations, sales, entrepreneurship, competitive sport or another high-performance environment.
A broad role across finance, commercial strategy, operations and growth. A steep learning curve in a growing business. A practical pathway towards increasing commercial and leadership responsibility. Performance-related bonus potential. The opportunity to participate in a long-term equity incentive linked to business growth and value creation.
This is an opportunity for someone motivated by ownership, impact and long-term upside. We care less about a perfectly polished CV and more about intelligence, drive, judgement, resilience and commercial instinct.
