Your role and responsibilities:

  • Our Talent Acquisition team in UK & IE is growing, and we are seeking an experienced Talent Sourcer to join us. You will play a crucial role in identifying, engaging, and attracting top talent for ABB.
  • Collaborating closely with Talent Partners, Hiring Managers, and Business Leaders, you will understand hiring needs, develop strategic sourcing plans, and build pipelines of passive and active candidates.
  • This is a temporary ongoing role, hired via one of our agency partners.
  • Developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies to attract relevant talent for various roles within ABB UK & Ireland.
  • Conducting kick-off meetings with Hiring Managers and Talent Partners to discuss sourcing strategies, share market insights, and best practices.
  • Utilizing various sourcing tools and techniques such as job boards, social media, referrals, and networking to identify candidates.
  • Headhunting and engaging passive candidates through targeted outreach campaigns, leveraging creative messaging and employer branding techniques.
  • Conducting initial screening interviews to evaluate candidates' qualifications and suitability.
  • Using data analytics to understand market trends, candidate behavior, and monitor key metrics to refine sourcing strategies.
  • Identifying future hiring needs and developing talent pipelines, maintaining contact with potential candidates.
  • Tracking and reporting sourcing metrics, including sourced candidates, response rates, and conversion rates.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Extensive experience as a Talent Sourcer or Recruiter in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Proficiency in sourcing techniques and tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media, and networking.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and build relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in interpreting hiring trends and market data.
