This position reports to Planning & Fulfillment Manager. In this role, you will have the responsibility for coordinating and optimising the flow of goods, materials, and information across the supply chain. The role ensures efficient and accurate logistics operations including goods receipt, inventory control, warehousing, and dispatch activities. You will act as the primary point of contact for logistics queries, support continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Work Model
Hybrid role based at our Leeds site with some international travel as required.
Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.
- Operational Logistics Coordination
- Oversee and coordinate daily logistics activities with our new Third-Party Warehouse (3PL) including: goods-in, storage, stock control, and dispatch.
- Ensure orders are processed efficiently, accurately, and on time.
- Challenge and look for better processes and ways of working with our 3PL.
- Maintain and track agreed KPIs and service levels with the third-party warehouse in the Netherlands.
- Support the planning and scheduling of deliveries and collections.
- Inventory & Supply Chain Support
- Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment and stock rotation processes.
- Carry out regular stock checks, cycle counts, and investigate discrepancies.
- Work closely with procurement, production, and planning teams to ensure smooth material flow.
- Maintain accurate records for audits, stock control, and compliance purposes.
- Identify operational issues or inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Support the implementation of new processes, systems, or equipment to improve logistics performance.
- Prepare basic operational reports, including stock accuracy, delivery performance, and workflow updates.
- Liaise with transport partners, couriers, and suppliers to schedule collections and deliveries.
- Resolve delivery or shipment issues and escalate as needed.
- Track and confirm transport and logistics documentation.
- Assess our current logistics partners' cost control and efficiency.
- Explore cost-effective alternatives and negotiate cost reductions with current carriers and logistics providers, with the aim of ultimately establishing ownership of our freight partnerships.
Essential
- Experience in a logistics, warehouse, or supply chain environment.
- Strong understanding of goods-in/out processes, stock control, and transport coordination.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively.
- Good communication skills for dealing with internal teams and external partners.
- Competence in using logistics, ERP, or WMS systems.
- Understanding of health and safety requirements within a logistics environment.

- Lean or continuous improvement awareness.
- Formal logistics or supply chain-related qualification.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
