Join VMCS as a Market Development Leader. This role reports to the Marketing & Sales Manager and will develop and execute sales strategy within the Industrial and OEM market scope.

Your Role And Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to drive high performance, clear goal alignment, and continuous improvement.
  • Deliver proactive sales execution, promote ELIP products, achieve sales targets, and ensure strong customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Provide technical expertise and product/application support, resolving issues in collaboration with Quality, Service, and Customer Service teams.
  • Develop and implement local market strategies and annual business plans aligned with global product marketing priorities.
  • Monitor market trends, analyse competitive insights, and recommend strategic actions to support long‑ and mid‑term business growth.
  • Manage sales performance across key channels including OEMs, contractors, consultants, and industrial distributors, supporting joint activities with the LSO.
  • Drive training and knowledge sharing through customer CPD sessions and ensuring strong technical and sales capability across stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular reporting and communication to the local management team.

Qualifications For The Role

  • Minimum 3‑5 years experience in the industry or targeted market segments alongside proven people development experience.
  • Strategic thinking and commercial awareness.
  • Ability to deliver technical and product presentations to potential clients.
  • Knowledge of the marketplace and customers along with knowledge of electrical standards, product application, and competitors’ offerings.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong IT proficiency (CRM Systems, Microsoft Office).
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
