You will provide compassionate, person-centred emotional, spiritual and religious support, respecting each person's unique faith, beliefs, values and cultural traditions. Working as part of an interdisciplinary team, you will support residents through meaningful conversations, spiritual practices, religious rituals, cultural celebrations, grief, loss, palliative care and end-of-life experience. Experience & Skills you’ll bring:- A qualification in Pastoral Care, Clinical Pastoral Education, Teaching, Social Sciences or a related field.
- Accredited as a Eucharistic Minister or willing to complete the required training.
- Experience providing person-centred care in aged care, healthcare or a similar setting.
- A warm, friendly and caring approach to working with older people.
- Strong listening skills and the ability to provide compassionate pastoral care and support.
- Experience supporting people and families through grief, loss, palliative care and end-of-life.
- Ability to plan and lead spiritual, religious and pastoral services and gatherings.
- Good communication, interpersonal, organisational and time-management skills.
- A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
