Our client is looking for a Brand Storyteller to join the communications team and be responsible for identifying, sourcing, creating and distributing powerful human-interest stories that illustrate the impact of their work. The role will link the communications team and the wider customer-facing and operational side of the business and will play a key role in bringing to life real stories and helping internal and external audiences connect with mission, vision and strategy.
Responsibilities
- Developing and delivering effective and engaging content and activity plans for all audiences.
- Collaborating with senior leaders to embed a positive culture of storytelling across the whole business.
- Taking a lead role in identifying, and developing, engaging content to position our client as leaders in their sector.
- Proactively identifying individuals whose stories reflect our client’s impact, ideals, values and strategic priorities.
- Creating and developing high-quality content in multiple formats: long‑form articles (case studies), short‑form stories for social media, video scripts, photo stories, blogs, newsletter articles, website features, press releases, first‑person pieces, etc.
- Evaluating the impact of your work on all audiences and using this insight to inform and influence future activity.
Qualifications
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to craft engaging, clear, and emotionally resonant stories for varied audiences.
- A strong track record with vast experience as a storyteller/copywriter and/or content creator in sourcing, creating and distributing human interest / impact stories, with an understanding of turning objectives into impactful messaging and influential storytelling.
- Any experience with photography/videography or working with multimedia production teams (shooting/editing) would be an advantage.
The role is offered on a hybrid basis with 2‑3 days spent within the business (office or site locations).
