The Internal Communications Business Partner (Operations) will support the customer facing operational sites and will require someone to work some of their week at one or more of their UK sites; Gloucester, Manchester and Glasgow, with occasional travel to HQ in Southampton.
As an Internal Communications Business Partner (Operations), you will work closely with both the central IC Team and operational and site-based leadership within customer operations. You will:
- Act as trusted partner to senior leadership, offering guidance and counsel
- Devise and deliver integrated communications plans to inform, engage and support customer facing staff, focusing activity on relevant and proven channels and with specific tailoring to those audience groups
- Shape business strategy into clear and engaging communications that foster greater understanding and engagement
- Work with colleagues across the People team, transformation programmes, sustainability and external/corporate comms to ensure communications are aligned and support the fostering of a single company culture
- Use data and metrics to measure and improve the outcomes of your communications
About you: We’re looking for an experienced Internal Communications Business Partner or Manager with strong exposure to customer facing populations wanting that next step, more responsibility and greater autonomy. You will be a strong IC generalist with a track record of delivering real impact and outcomes to these audiences. A highly skilled comms professional, you will be a problem solver, a great stakeholder manager with strong commercial acumen and creative flair. This is an exciting role as part of a newly formed and high performing IC team at a pivotal time in their growth journey. The role is offered on a hybrid basis, with regular time spent in their operational sites (Gloucester, Manchester).
