Our global financial services client is looking for a Senior Internal Communications & Engagement Lead, reporting to and deputising for the Head of Internal Communication, to add both strategic and tactical weight to the newly restructured team at a critical time for the business as it integrates recent acquisitions. With line management responsibility (x2) and as a senior member of the team, you’ll lead on business‑wide content and campaigns, oversee and evolve the IC channel strategy and ensure your timely and impactful communications serve to foster a single culture across the business.

As Communications & Engagement Lead you will:

  • Partner with senior leadership, offering counsel and guidance and raising both visibility and profile across the business
  • Translate business strategy into meaningful and engaging communications through campaigns and as part of a planned communications calendar
  • Work with leadership and the People team to embed a single company culture across incoming and existing teams
  • Support on crisis comms, wellbeing initiatives, engagement surveys etc.
  • Use data and metrics to measure and improve the outcomes of your comms

About you: We’re looking for an experienced Internal Communications leader wanting that next step and future potential. You will be a strong IC generalist with a track record of delivering real impact and outcomes. A highly skilled comms professional, you will be a problem solver, a great stakeholder manager, strong commercial acumen and excellent organisation and attention to detail.

This is an exciting role as part of a newly formed and high performing IC team at a pivotal time in their growth journey. The role offered on a hybrid basis, largely remote but with regular time spent in Southampton, London and occasionally on other sites across the UK.
