Our client is seeking a talented Corporate Communications Manager to lead external communications and strengthen its reputation within the transport/rail sector.
The successful candidate will shape the organisation’s external narrative, manage media activity, drive digital and social content, and promote the brand across multiple audiences. They will work closely with senior leaders, deliver impactful campaigns, lead award submissions, and support employer-brand activity. They will also play a key role in crisis communications and issues management, helping to protect and enhance the organisation’s reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead external communications, media relations and digital channels
- Ensure consistent brand representation across all external content
- Support senior leaders through thought leadership and external visibility
- Drive employer-brand activity and create engaging careers content
- Deliver award entries and external engagement initiatives
- Provide crisis communications support as deputy to the Head of Communications
- Analyse performance data and report on impact
- Champion best practice and mentor colleagues

- Strong experience in external communications and media relations
- Excellent writing, storytelling and senior-stakeholder influencing skills
- Expertise in digital communications, social media and content creation
