Public Service provider is looking to recruit a
Paid Search Marketing Manager to take ownership of paid acquisition performance across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.
Ideally looking for individuals that are Google Ads / Microsoft Advertising certified and use to managing medium to large budgets for a commercial organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation where paid search plays a critical role in generating high-quality enquiries and driving business growth.
You'll be responsible for developing, optimising and scaling campaigns, ensuring acquisition targets are met while maintaining cost efficiency and maximising return on investment.
Working closely with marketing, content and creative teams, you'll use data and insights to continuously improve campaign performance and deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimise Google Ads and Microsoft/Bing Ads accounts to maximise performance and scalability.
- Monitor key campaign metrics including spend, conversions, CPL/CPE, CTR, Quality Score and conversion rates.
- Manage budgets effectively, ensuring spend is aligned to targets and performance objectives.
- Conduct keyword research, search query analysis and negative keyword management to improve efficiency.
- Develop, test and optimise ad copy, extensions and creative assets.
- Run A/B testing programmes across bidding strategies, ad copy, landing pages and audience targeting.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends, adjusting strategies to maintain performance.
- Ensure accurate conversion tracking and campaign attribution across platforms.
- Manage and optimise Performance Max campaigns alongside traditional search campaigns.
- Produce regular performance reports, translating data into actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with content, design and wider marketing teams to improve conversion performance across landing pages and digital journeys.
Candidate Requirements
You’ll be a hands-on paid search specialist with a passion for performance marketing and continuous optimisation.
- Proven experience managing and optimising Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising campaigns (certified)
- Strong understanding of keyword strategy, bidding models, audience targeting and campaign structure.
- Experience working with Performance Max campaigns.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify growth opportunities.
- Strong understanding of conversion tracking, attribution and reporting.
- Experience conducting A/B testing and applying insights to improve performance.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
