Our long-standing higher education client is looking for immediate support within their communications team, specifically to add capacity and to focus on the PR and Communications aspects of promoting their research output across certain faculties.
Working as part of a team, this role will focus on devising and implementing communications plans across traditional and digital media channels, aimed at raising the profile and promoting the research initiatives of the departments. You\βll build relationships internally with academics and externally with media stakeholders, and will create compelling content (written, video, podcasts etc) across a range of subjects.
A self-starter, comfortable managing your own work, proactive and creative, you\βll enjoy working at pace and generating content β in differing tone β on a wide range of themes. We\βre looking for a PR pro who can land and add value quickly, and there is the potential for the role to become permanent.
Any experience gained within health or sustainability would be advantageous.
The role is offered on a day rate of Β£300/day via umbrella, a hybrid model with min 2 days on site.
