Technical Administrator - Part Time
3 Days a week | 9:30am-2:30pm
Permanent | Bourne
Salary: Negotiable
Are you a great administrator with experience working in the food industry?
We're looking for an organised, proactive and detail-focused Quality Administrator to join a successful food business on a permanent, part-time basis.
You don't need to be a Technical or Quality expert. What's more important is that you have worked within the food industry, you're a strong administrator and you're comfortable dealing with customers, suppliers, systems and lots of different information.
What you'll be doing
- Managing and maintaining supplier and customer documentation
- Updating databases, records and product information
- Liaising with customers and suppliers
- Coordinating supplier questionnaires and information requests
- Supporting new supplier approvals
- Managing product labels and sample packaging
- Supporting customer complaints and claims
- Helping organise audits and associated paperwork
- Preparing reports and management information
- Updating website information
- General administration and keeping everything organised and up to date
What we're looking for
You could currently be working as a Sales Administrator, Office Administrator, Customer Service Administrator, Technical Administrator, Quality Administrator or similar within a food business.
You'll need to be:
- A really strong administrator
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicating with customers and suppliers
- Good with Excel, databases and systems
- Comfortable managing documentation
- Able to prioritise and work independently
- Proactive and willing to learn
Previous Quality, Technical or BRC experience would be a bonus, but it isnโt essential.
This could be a great opportunity for someone with good food-industry experience who wants part-time, school-friendly hours
