Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in Edinburgh, working on-site four days a week. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 8 years of experience and a strong background in infrastructure automation, database support, and modern DevOps tooling.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance and automate database refresh and data scrubbing processes
- Provide ongoing technical support for MS SQL Server-based test environments
- Update and enhance automation workflows for Sybase-to-SQL Server conversions at the platform infrastructure level
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline software delivery and environment management
- Contribute to continuous improvement of SDLC tooling and infrastructure automation
Required Technical Skills
- Strong experience with MS SQL Server
- Proficiency in infrastructure workflow automation
- Experience with SDLC tooling and deployment automation
Additional Knowledge / Skills
- Azure DevOps for pipelines and environment orchestration
- Ansible and AWX for configuration management and automation
- Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC)
