We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity for an experienced Dental Technician specialising in Prosthetics / Dentures to join a forward-thinking, fully digital dental laboratory.
Our client is looking for an ambitious and technically skilled individual to help establish and develop a brand-new digital denture department.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about digital dentistry and wants to play a key role in developing a modern, fully digital prosthetics workflow.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to build and develop the laboratory's digital denture department, working closely with dentists and fellow dental technicians.
Unlike traditional laboratories, our client operates a fully digital workflow, with no conventional analogue denture production processes.
We are therefore looking for someone who is enthusiastic about digital technology, adaptable and confident in finding solutions to technical challenges.
Requirements
- Previous experience in dental prosthetics and denture production.
- Experience with digital dental design software, ideally 3Shape or Exocad.
- Knowledge of the Ivoclar BPS system would be highly advantageous.
- Ideally GDC registered or currently working towards registration.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with dentists and crown & bridge technicians.
- A proactive, adaptable and problem-solving approach.
- Genuine enthusiasm for digital dentistry and developing new workflows.
Training & Development
Although previous digital denture experience would be preferred, our client is willing to provide training for the right candidate.
The most important qualities are a solid understanding of prosthetics, a willingness to embrace digital technology and the motivation to help develop a successful new department.
