We are working with an established dental laboratory in Birmingham that is looking to recruit an experienced Dental Technician with a strong background in Chrome / Cobalt Chrome work.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and supportive laboratory with a good reputation for producing high-quality dental restorations.
The Role
The successful candidate will have experience within the Chrome / Cobalt Chrome department and be confident working independently while maintaining a consistently high standard of work.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Cobalt chrome framework production
- Designing and finishing chrome frameworks
- Partial denture frameworks
- Model preparation and surveying
- Finishing, fitting and quality control
- Working closely with the wider prosthetics team
- Ensuring cases are completed accurately and within agreed turnaround times
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous dental laboratory experience within Chrome / Cobalt Chrome
- Produces accurate, high-quality work
- Has a good understanding of removable prosthetics
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Can manage their workload effectively
- Works well as part of a laboratory team
Experience with digital chrome workflows, CAD design or 3D printing would also be advantageous, although this is not essential.
