What you'll be doing
- Safely deliver fuel products in accordance with company procedures, delivery instructions and current legislation.
- Carry out vehicle safety inspections and daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness before each journey.
- Follow all Health, Safety, Environmental and quality procedures, reporting accidents, incidents, spills or operational issues promptly.
- Maintain full compliance with Driver's Handbook requirements, depot operational procedures and company policies.
- Load and discharge products safely and accurately, ensuring deliveries are completed correctly and efficiently.
- Verify customer, product and delivery information before dispensing product and obtain proof of delivery where required.
- Act as a professional ambassador for Certas Energy, providing excellent customer service at every interaction.
- Communicate effectively with depot teams, supervisors and customers regarding delivery schedules, issues or discrepancies.
- Promote company products and services where appropriate and identify opportunities for additional business.
- Build positive working relationships across the business and contribute to a culture of teamwork, safety and operational excellence.
- ADR qualification (essential).
- Class C or Class C+E licence, depending on role requirements.
- Driver CPC qualification.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Good numerical and logical reasoning ability.
- Ability to work independently while remaining a strong team player.
- Previous tanker or fuel industry experience would be advantageous.
- PDP qualification is desirable.
