The Role: Weβre looking for someone with a growth mindset and a proven track record of implementing/executing a strong client relationship strategy within a SaaS environment. You would be managing a portfolio of predominantly Payment Compliance focused clients that vary in spend and strategic objectives. This is a pure Account Management role; you would not be responsible for net new business, instead, you would be responsible for revenue growth through cross and upsales of our modular product. In partnership with our CS team, you would also have responsibility for obtaining customer success criteria, enabling you to retain and grow your customer portfolio (passed over by our New Business team).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients to achieve retention and upsell/cross-sell set targets
- Proactively identify and pursue business opportunities through multi-threading and high-quality discovery techniques.
- Implement repeatable best practices and strategies resulting in product adoption/expansion, and increased customer satisfaction.
- Build strong and sustainable relationships with your key clients and internal stakeholders.
- Forecasting your business on a timely and accurate basis
- Use data and client insight, to advise the business of risk within the client portfolio
- Proactively work with Commercial and Product teams to enhance products/processes
- Leverage the sales and marketing stack, and processes to drive consistency and scale across the function.
The Expectations for Success: You will know you are doing an extraordinary job when you are achieving the value/volume retention goals through increasing engagement, annual increases and upsells. Your client portfolio will all have scheduled touch points in place, you understand where you have opportunity or risk - and you are able to renew the majority of accounts 2 months in advance of their expiry date. You will be partnering with key stakeholders across all the main functions in the business, such as Business Development, Marketing and Content/Analyst, to ensure growth and provide the highest level of service to our customers.
The successful candidate must have a proven background as an Account Manager and is comfortable developing strategies for success whilst simultaneously informing our product roadmap. You will need strong influencing communication and organisational skills and the ability to get to the root of our clients challenge as well as a personal drive for success and a strong determination to achieve your objectives.
