As an Analyst, understanding our customers’ ever-changing needs comes first. This role supports research and analysis across sectors such as investment services, lending, retail banking and payments. While adaptable in scope, financial services experience is especially valuable. Responsibilities include contributing to the content plan, writing research reports, and producing regulatory analysis that aligns with client needs across financial services markets.
The Role:
- You will build subject matter expertise through research, stakeholder engagement, and customer interaction. You will monitor a selection of jurisdictions and topics on a daily basis, keeping a keen eye out for regulatory changes and impact that matter most to our customers.
- You will maintain Market Entry reports to a high standard, ensuring they are accurate, comprehensive and updated in a timely manner to reflect the current regulatory landscape. Our customers count on us to get it right and keep them up to date.
- You will learn about our customers through cross-functional collaboration with the commercial teams, and answering customer queries on a regular basis. You will identify trends based on customer feedback and challenges and use that knowledge to inform other customers who may have the same challenges.
- You will develop relationships with key regulatory and industry stakeholders to ensure coverage is high quality and well-informed.
- You will support Vixio participation at third party conferences and events by sharing knowledge, creating presentations and collecting data/ supporting information.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Political Science, History, Pre-Law, Business, Legal Studies, or a related field. A law degree is a plus but not required.
- Successful track record in research/ content/ consulting roles in a B2B context
- Working knowledge of compliance
- Exposure to financial services regulation is highly desirable (e.g. banking, payments, investments, capital markets or lending).
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Strong writing skills, capable of turning complex regulatory material into actionable insight
- Communicates succinctly and concisely
- Ruthless attention to detail
- Ability to connect the dots and identify patterns/ trends based on regulatory data
- Ability to engage with customers and share insights based on research findings
