Senior Project Manager in Manchester

Please note: this role is On‑Site, full time, Monday to Friday at our Manchester offices. You'll need to be a UK Citizen or hold ILR status to be considered; unfortunately, Vix is unable to consider applicants with any other residency or visa status at this time.

What will you be responsible for?

• Managing project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
• Monitoring or tracking project milestones and deliverables.
• Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Customers, Vendors and Third parties.
• Run project governance (steering committees with senior internal and external stakeholders).
• Direct and coordinate project activities across geographically dispersed project teams.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and detailed solution delivery and resource requirements as necessary.

What does our ideal candidate look like?

• 8 years + PM experience within IT environments
• Experience managing multiple large scale £3 Mil + projects
• Extensive project reporting
• Certification in Project Management methodologies (Prince2 & or Agile)
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Working experience within regulated rail environments
• Previous delivery experience of Open Payment System such as EMV
