CBT Therapist
You are a compassionate and experienced CBT Therapist who thrives on making a meaningful difference. Confident working with complex presentations, you combine clinical rigour with genuine empathy, creating safe and supportive spaces where people can do their best therapeutic work. You are comfortable working autonomously, but you also value collaboration, supervision and being part of a wider clinical community.
Responsibilities
Deliver CBT sessions via telephone, video or face-to-face, aligned to clinical pathways and contract requirements.
Assess mental health needs, including risk and safeguarding considerations.
Provide a confidential, supportive and therapeutic environment for clients.
Draw on other therapeutic models where appropriate, in line with your training and clinical recommendations.
Manage and prioritise a caseload autonomously, including organisation of sessions and venues where required.
Maintain accurate, timely and high-quality clinical records and outcome measures.
Write psychological reports for commissioning organisations when required.
Engage in regular clinical and group supervision, team meetings and MDT working.
Contribute to service development, audits and, where appropriate, training delivery.
Take responsibility for your own wellbeing, CPD and ongoing professional development.
