You're the kind of person who finds genuine satisfaction in making a system work exactly as it should, and then making it better. You think in funnels, speak fluent HubSpot, and have a healthy obsession with attribution, data quality, and conversion rates that don't make you squint in disbelief. You're equally comfortable pulling together a board‑ready pipeline report and getting into the weeds of a broken workflow, and you know the difference between being busy and actually moving the needle.
You operate with a high degree of autonomy, take ownership seriously, and have the confidence to tell a stakeholder 'that's not a priority right now' without it being a whole thing.
What You’ll Be Doing (in a Nutshell)
In our Marketing team, you'll sit right at the intersection of data, systems, and commercial performance. You'll own the marketing operations function end to end, including direct accountability for demand generation outcomes delivered through an external agency. The Director of Growth Marketing sets the direction; you make it happen.
Day-to-day You Can Expect To:
- Design, build, and maintain HubSpot automations across the full funnel, from lead capture through to sales handoff, keeping logic clean, documented, and scalable.
- Own the HubSpot‑Salesforce integration on the marketing side, partnering with RevOps to keep hand-offs tight and data consistent.
- Manage UTM tracking, form strategy, lead capture, and GA4 analytics, making sure tags, events, and conversion goals are firing correctly.
- Define audience segments, channel mix, and messaging priorities for demand generation campaigns, and set targets that consistently drive qualified pipeline.
- Own lead scoring and nurture from first touch to sales‑ready, building and optimising models and sequences directly in HubSpot.
- Review and sign off agency campaign plans, monitoring MQLs, pipeline contribution, and cost per lead in real time, and acting quickly when performance falls short.
- Build weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports for leadership covering pipeline contribution, channel ROI, and MQL-to-SQL conversion.
- Diagnose funnel friction: when conversion rates drop or pipeline slows, trace root causes across HubSpot data, campaign performance, lead routing, and system behaviour.
- Manage multiple concurrent workstreams, triage inbound requests, own vendor relationships, and track spend against the marketing budget.
To Be Successful, You'll Have:
- Proven experience across marketing operations and demand generation, moving comfortably between strategic decisions and hands‑on execution.
- Strong HubSpot capability: you build, audit, and maintain complex workflows, lifecycle programmes, and lead scoring models with clean, documented logic.
- Solid working knowledge of Salesforce CRM and the ability to own the marketing side of the HubSpot‑Salesforce integration.
- An analytical, diagnosis‑led mindset: you work through funnel data and attribution to find root causes and translate them into clear recommendations.
- Experience managing agency relationships, holding partners accountable to reporting standards, data quality, and pipeline targets.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to run multiple workstreams simultaneously and set realistic expectations with stakeholders.
Bonus points if you bring:
- Experience with ABM programmes and campaign personalisation in HubSpot.
- A genuine curiosity about AI and emerging martech, with experience leading tool adoption across a team.
- A track record of building marketing processes and documentation that actually enable self‑serve.
