WHERE YOU’LL PLAY As Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will partner closely with leaders across E‑commerce, Retail, Wholesale and Supply Chain to drive profitable growth through commercial insight, investment appraisal and strategic financial planning. You will play a key role in supporting our retail expansion, improving unit economics and margin performance, and bringing Vivo’s long‑term growth ambitions to life through data‑driven decision making. You will also help define the next chapter of Commercial Finance at Vivo, embracing AI to radically improve how we leverage data, automation and insight analysis that accelerates insight generation and improves business decision‑making.
POSTURE & STRUCTURE Building the commercial and analytical foundations that enable better decision‑making, sustainable growth and long‑term value creation. Partner cross‑functionally to support strategic decision‑making and deliver sustainable business outcomes. Translate financial and operational data into clear insights, recommendations and growth opportunities. Help shape the future of Finance by identifying opportunities to leverage automation, data tools and AI to enhance analysis, accelerate insight generation and reduce manual effort. Develop a deep understanding of Vivo’s commercial performance, key value drivers and unit economics. Support the preparation and ongoing evolution of monthly Performance Reviews for the leadership team, to deliver meaningful analysis and actionable insights. Provide cover for FP&A activities when required, including budgeting, forecasting and working capital management.
AGILE RHYTHM Supporting effective capital allocation and strategic decision‑making through robust commercial analysis and investment appraisal. Partner with senior leaders to provide commercial decision support through business cases, investment appraisals, scenario modelling and strategic initiatives. Deliver actionable insight into the performance and profitability of Vivo’s E‑commerce, Wholesale and Retail channels, identifying opportunities to drive growth and improve returns. Own the retail store appraisal model, supporting location selection, investment decisions and post‑investment performance reviews as Vivo continues its retail expansion. Lead Vivo’s margin value creation agenda through commercial analysis of pricing, logistics, sourcing and operational cost drivers.
RELAX & FLOW Fostering an open, collaborative work environment with minimal bureaucratic constraints, encouraging entrepreneurial spirit and innovative thinking whilst providing insights and support to other departments and categories. Develop scalable financial models, investment appraisal frameworks and self‑service tools that improve decision‑making across the business. Deliver timely and engaging weekly and monthly performance reporting, ensuring key insights are understood and acted upon across the business.
FEEDBACK & EVOLUTION Support the annual Integrated Reporting cycle, including financial and non‑financial performance metrics. Foster strong cross‑functional relationships built on trust, constructive challenge, transparency and shared accountability.
ALL ABOUT YOU Bachelor's degree ACA, CIMA, or other relevant certifications, with a strong commitment to sustainable finance principles. 3+ years of relevant, post‑qualification experience. Prior experience in a commercially focused finance team with experience partnering with ecommerce and supply chain teams highly desired. Strong financial analysis, modelling, and forecasting skills, with a deep understanding across P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow. An AI‑First thinker, comfortable with embracing this fast‑paced technology for the betterment of Vivo’s Commercial Performance and delivery of the Commercial Finance team’s objectives. Knowledge of financial software and tools e.g., Excel, ERP systems. (Netsuite, Sol7, PowerBI, Alteryx a plus). Excellent communication and presentation skills with a passion for promoting sustainability. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross‑functional environment. A self‑starter, comfortable working with ambiguity and motivated to grow and develop with Vivo.
