Technical Business Analyst / Power BI / Migration / Business Analyst / 12-month FTC / Birmingham / Onsite / Hybrid Vivo are working with a Birmingham based business who are moving their reporting capabilities onto Power BI and they need a technical Business Analyst to help deliver it. You'll be the link between the people who need data and the people who build it. Working with senior leaders, engineers and employees, you'll gather requirements, decide which legacy reports should be retired, consolidated or rebuilt and turn those needs into clear specifications for the data engineers. You'll also lead user acceptance testing to make sure what's delivered works for the people using it. What you'll bring 3+ years as a technical Business Analyst, including work on projects that delivered kimball style data models Solid SQL skills for validating requirements and interrogating data Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or Cognos Strong process mapping, documentation and requirements gathering Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and offering constructive challenge Understanding of data governance, data quality and GDPR If you're interested in this role or have further questions, reach out with an up-to-date CV.
