We are looking for a QA Lead to take full ownership of Quality Assurance across the business. This is the first dedicated QA hire, offering a genuine opportunity to design, implement and lead how QA is done from the ground up in a small business.
Right now, quality is a shared responsibility across engineering and product, which has allowed the team to move in an agile way. The next step is bringing in a dedicated QA Lead to introduce structure, consistency and scalable practices - giving you a genuine opportunity to shape how quality is embedded across the business.
What Youβll Be Doing:
- Owning QA end-to-end across product and project delivery
- Defining and implementing QA processes and standards
- Balancing QA efforts between core product development and ad hoc / consultancy-style project work
- Writing and maintaining clear test scripts and test cases
- Performing manual and regression testing
- Introducing and implementing automated testing where appropriate
- Working closely with developers, product and operations to embed quality into delivery
- Identifying gaps, risks and opportunities for improvement in existing workflows
Experience & Skills Required:
- Proven experience in a QA or QA Lead role
- Strong manual testing background
- Experience writing test scripts and executing regression testing
- Comfortable working without existing QA frameworks or standards
- Ability to take ownership and make decisions in ambiguous environments
