Quality Engineer
Location: Gloucestershire
Salary:£42,000 – £45.000

We are looking for an experiencedQuality Engineerto support quality assurance, continuous improvement, and compliance activities within a precision engineering manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create quality documentation including FAIRs, Quality Plans, and ITPs.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
- Lead non-conformance investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct internal and supplier audits.
- Work closely with Operations, Customers, and Suppliers to resolve quality issues.
- Drive quality improvements, reduce scrap, and improve process performance.
Skills & Experience
- Proven Quality Engineering experience in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of RCA, CAPA, PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA and AS9102 FAIR requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Good understanding of CNC and conventional machining processes.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
- CMM programming experience desirable.
Qualifications
- HNC in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Production Engineering.
- External Auditor Training.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
