Area Sales Manager (Lighting)
Location
Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Peterborough & Northamptonshire
Our client, a leading UK lighting manufacturer, is looking for an ambitious sales professional to manage and grow an established territory across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and Northamptonshire.
You'll be responsible for developing new business, securing lighting specifications and managing projects through to order conversion while building strong relationships with architects, consultants, consulting engineers, M&E consultants, electrical contractors, local authorities and end users.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities across the territory.
- Secure lighting specifications and convert projects into sales.
- Build and maintain relationships with architects, consultants, consulting engineers, contractors and end users.
- Produce lighting designs using
Relux/Dialux software.
- Manage existing accounts while identifying new project opportunities.
- Achieve territory sales targets and grow market share.
Requirements
- Strong experience in lighting specification sales .
- Experience working with architects, consultants, consulting engineers, M&E consultants and electrical contractors.
- Background as a
Specification Manager, Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Regional Sales Manager or
Account Manager within the lighting industry.
- Strong commercial awareness and excellent relationship-building skills.
- Experience with
Relux is advantageous.
