Vivo Talent is looking to recruit a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to stabilise, modernise and simplify our clients infrastructure. It is an excellent opportunity for someone to play a key role in taking this company to the next stage in their cloud strategy.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the evolution from a significant on-premises estate to a more cloud-led Azure environment.
- Maintain and support SCCM, Windows/Linux servers, and VMware virtualization.
- Optimise and simplify hybrid infrastructure, integrating on-prem and Azure services.
- Drive infrastructure projects, upgrades and migrations across our global operations.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure reliable IT services and mentor junior engineers.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong on-premises IT skills with hands-on experience in Windows, Linux, VMware and hardware (HPE/Dell).
- Practical experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
- Knowledge of SCCM, VDI, backups, security, and network fundamentals.
- Ability to stabilise, modernise, and simplify complex, hybrid IT infrastructures.
- Strategic thinking with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
