Hours of work: 07:00 – 19:00 / 19:00 – 07:00 (3 on – 3 off rotating)
Reporting to: Technical Shift Leader
Pay: £19.55 per hour
Holidays: 22 days per year, increasing with service to 24 days.
Injection Moulding Setter
I am currently recruiting for an Injection Moulding Setter to join a leading UK manufacturer based in Nottinghamshire.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading plastics manufacturer operating a state-of-the-art 24/7 facility with over 40 injection moulding machines across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out tool changes and machine set-ups to ensure efficient production.
- Condition set injection moulding machines from scratch.
- Set and programme 3-axis Sepro and Viper robots.
- Fault-find and troubleshoot machine and process issues.
- Complete quality checks and ensure production targets are achieved.
- Monitor cycle times and product weights to maximise efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the department.
- Maintain excellent health and safety standards at all times.
Ideal Candidate
- IMT Level 3 qualified (or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar Injection Moulding Setter role.
- Strong understanding of injection moulding processes and machine conditioning.
- Experience setting Sepro 3-axis robots or similar robotic systems.
- Experience with Billion, Engel, Arburg or Sandretto injection moulding machines would be advantageous, but not essential.
