Weekend cover cleaner to help support holiday and sickness cover across a variety of sites in the Ipswich and surrounding areas.
MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORT
Flexibility required plus additional hours available during the weekend, but not essential for this role.
Pay: £14.25 per hour
Expected hours: 2.0 – 8.0 per week
Responsibilities
Perform thorough cleaning of commercial premises during designated weekend shifts, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas according to health and safety standards
Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
Follow company cleaning protocols and health guidelines to ensure a hygienic environment
Complete cleaning checklists and record completed tasks accurately
Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed
Requirements
Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
Knowledge of effective cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness
Good communication skills and reliability are essential
Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform manual cleaning tasks for extended periods
