As Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for helping to estimate costs, quantities and project timelines and providing business support to the Projects Team. This will include facilitating the working relationship between the team and internal and external customers, ensuring the completion of project reports and documentation, build controls and milestones into plans and programmes, identify business priorities and opportunities for improvements and provide cost advice and support to the Billable Works Team. In addition to this, you will liaise with the Senior Leadership team to report on progress of projects, attend Risk Meetings, ensure compliance across Health and Safety, Sustainability, Quality and other statutory requirements, as well as support change initiatives and identify alternative solutions. This role will cover sites in the South West region, so you will be required to travel as the business demands. This role will involve working across 3-4 projects at any one time in construction, so it is essential that you are able to manage a large workload. This role would suit a competent Assistant QS who is looking for the next step in their career, as well as established QS's. Due to the vetting requirements candidates must be able to pass SC Clearance, and candidates must hold a full UK driving licence.
