Reporting to the PPM Manager, you will lead a team of five administrators, consisting of three established team members and two additional new hires. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys developing people, driving performance, and creating efficient processes within a busy operational environment., As the PPM Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, development and performance of the administration team, ensuring a high-quality service is delivered to customers, clients, and supply partners. You will oversee planned preventative maintenance administration activities, procurement processes, reporting requirements and stakeholder communications, ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
Alongside managing workloads and operational priorities, you will play an important leadership role within the team, conducting performance reviews, managing attendance and wellbeing, handling employee relations matters where required, and supporting disciplinary and performance management processes in partnership with HR.
The role requires regular interaction with a wide range of stakeholders, including clients, customers, service providers, supply partners and internal operational teams. Building strong working relationships and maintaining excellent communication will be key to your success.
You will also be responsible for producing and analysing performance data, supporting month-end reporting requirements, implementing new processes and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across the function.
What you'll need
We are looking for a confident people leader who can inspire and develop a team while maintaining high standards of service delivery. Whilst experience leading an administration team would be highly desirable, we are equally keen to hear from candidates with strong supervisory or team leadership experience who are ready to take the next step in their career.
You will have experience working within a fast-paced administrative environment and be comfortable managing competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Strong customer service skills and the ability to build positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders are essential.
Advanced Excel skills are a key requirement for this role, as you will be expected to analyse data, produce reports and support operational decision-making. Experience using Maximo would be highly beneficial, although training can be provided for the right candidate.
You will be an organised, proactive and resilient individual who enjoys leading people and driving improvements. You will have experience managing performance, coaching team members and supporting employee development. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities and a customer-focused mindset are essential.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a fully office-based environment at our Larkhill location and must be able to obtain and maintain BPSS Security Clearance.
