Contract: Full Time, Permanent Location: Covering commercial properties across RAF Lakenheath (IP27 9PP), RAF Feltwell and RAF Mildenhall. Brandon, Suffolk Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30AM to 4:30PM, with an on-call rota of 1 week in 5 (with standby fee and on-call payments) Position Summary Within VIVO, we are currently recruiting for an Electrician to undertake planned preventative maintenance tasks on commercial properties on RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall, and RAF Feltwell. Responsibilities Undertake PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial and single occupancy dormitory buildings. Ensure that the electrical systems within the properties are safe for continued use and compliant under legislation. React to call-ins, which may include minor new works and installations, such as plug sockets, emergency light checks, and distribution board checks. Participate in an on-call rota to cover emergency call outs during non-core hours. Requirements Hold a City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 in Electrical Installation. Have experience in a commercial environment. Experience doing Fixed Wire Inspections in a commercial context is highly desirable. Have passed your C&G 18th edition. Hold a full, clean UK driving licence. Be independent and self-motivated with good communication skills. Experience within either an MOD or Construction/Property Maintenance environment is desirable. Clearance You must be able to pass BPSS Clearance to be considered for this role.
