As an M&E Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective and timely delivery of contractual obligations while maintaining compliance with JSP375. You will be responsible for assessing the competence of skilled personnel, producing high-quality Risk Assessments and Method Statements, and providing technical support to site teams, supply chain partners, and end users. Your expertise will be vital in supporting project work, reducing corrective actions, and identifying opportunities to help the MoD achieve its carbon reduction targets.
This role also involves providing professional advice on MOD Safe Systems of Work, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring that maintenance and operational procedures meet the highest standards. Collaboration is key in this role—you will build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and key stakeholders to ensure seamless operational delivery. You’ll also provide supervision, assessment, and coaching to Skilled Persons, ensuring they are fully trained and operating safely within regulations.

You should have significant practical experience with Safe Systems of Work, particularly in the management and operational delivery of JSP375. You should be confident in problem-solving, decision-making, and working independently across multiple sites. Experience in supervising site operations, resource management, and staff leadership is essential.
A full UK driving license is required, as you will be expected to travel across sites and participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota when necessary.
