Location: RAF Fairford – on site role Full time, Permanent Salary: Competitive + Company Car/Car Allowance Role Overview VIVO Defence Services seeks a commercially astute and relationship-driven Senior Quantity Surveyor to support core services and billable works on the MOD estate. You will ensure commercial compliance, financial oversight, and cost efficiency across facilities management and construction activities, supporting risk mitigation, contract delivery, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Deliver accurate cost advice and manage change in line with the USVF Contract. Develop and implement cost models, conduct risk analysis, and manage pricing and adjudication of billable works. Support the Principal Commercial Manager in reporting, dispute resolution, and compliance. Maintain excellent stakeholder relationships with internal teams and MOD/DIO representatives. Guide teams on proposals and contractual obligations. Support adherence to health and safety, sustainability, and equality policies. Contribute to utility reduction initiatives and participate in risk meetings. Manage commercial risks, prevent fraud, and promote operational improvements. Qualifications and Experience The ideal candidate will have a qualification at HND/Foundation Degree level in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience, with proven experience in FM or construction, preferably within MOD environments. Strong knowledge of commercial processes, excellent communication skills, and stakeholder engagement ability are essential. Desirable qualifications include familiarity with USVF contracts, utility and carbon reduction training, CPD accreditation, and membership of a professional body. Willingness to travel and flexible site visit approach are required.
