Who We Are

VIVO provides facilities management and accommodation maintenance for the UK military and its partners. VIVO embodies both experience and innovation.

What We Do

We put our Customers and Families First. They are the driving force behind everything we do. We drive forward improvements for them to ensure the service they receive, whether reactive repairs or a major project, is completed safely and on time. In order to achieve this, we have 4 core values: open, caring, agile and collaborative. These are at the heart of everything we do.

About The Role

VIVO is seeking a Security and Fraud Officer to join our Legal Team and play a key role in safeguarding our people, operations, and reputation. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is motivated by doing the right thing and wants to develop their expertise in a dynamic, high‑profile environment supporting the MOD estate. In this role, you will support the Security and Fraud Team in detecting, preventing, and investigating fraud and security risks while helping ensure the organisation meets its legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.

You will work across a broad range of activities, combining technical awareness, procedural understanding, and stakeholder engagement. From the outset, you will contribute to the delivery of security and fraud policies and training across the business, helping to embed a strong culture of ethics and awareness. As your confidence and experience grow, you will take increasing ownership of investigations and begin providing expert advice across the organisation. You will collaborate with colleagues at all levels, acting as a key point of contact for security and fraud matters and influencing teams to maintain high standards of compliance.

Your work will include supporting the review and implementation of Fraud Prevention and Security Management Plans, ensuring appropriate vetting checks are carried out for staff and contractors, and maintaining the integrity of systems and processes. You will help manage and update Fraud and Security Risk Registers, undertake risk assessments, and contribute to the development of mitigation and assurance plans. The role also involves supporting site inspections and audits, delivering training sessions, analysing trends and data, and producing reports for senior leadership and key stakeholders.

What You’ll Need

We are looking for someone with a strong ethical mindset who is confident in challenging others constructively and is committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity. You should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders. A natural curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to analyse information and assess risk will be key to your success. While prior knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO27001, GDPR, the Government Security Policy Framework, or Cyber Essentials would be beneficial, a willingness to learn and develop in these areas is equally valued.

In return, you will gain valuable experience in security and fraud within a supportive and knowledgeable team. You will have the opportunity to work on complex, real‑world challenges, influence organisational culture, and progressively take on greater responsibility, including leading investigations and providing strategic advice. Candidates must be willing to undergo SC clearance and hold a full, clean UK driving licence. You must also be a British national to be eligible for this role.

Benefits

  • Up to 6% contributory pension scheme
  • 25 Days annual leave
  • Volunteer leave
  • Life Assurance Policy
  • Employee discount and reward scheme
