Position Overview
VIVO is looking for an experienced Roofer to join its growing team supporting Service Family Accommodation across the Gloucester, Lyneham, M4 and M5 corridor areas. This is a long‑term Defence housing contract delivering essential repairs and maintenance to homes occupied by military families.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general roofing repairs and maintenance on Service Family Homes.
- Provide high‑standard customer service to families on‑site.
- Deliver quality repairs safely and efficiently while managing customer expectations.
- Work collaboratively as part of a two‑roofers and two‑labourers team; never work at height alone.
- Support general maintenance and refurbishment tasks as required.
- Maintain excellent health and safety standards and follow national training requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Fully qualified or time‑served roofer with practical experience across a range of roofing systems.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work in all weather conditions.
- Confident working independently while maintaining health and safety standards.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Will be required to obtain BPSS Clearance.
- Experience working with a team and in a customer‑direct environment.
