Responsibilities
- Lead the safe, compliant and commercially effective delivery of Billable Works across the VIVO contract.
- Take full ownership of projects from initiation through to completion.
- Manage risk, cost, programme and quality while ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory, Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
- Work closely with Defence Infrastructure Organisation representatives, site teams and supply chain partners to agree project scope, priorities and delivery programmes.
- Ensure suitable qualified operatives are deployed and safe systems of work are in place.
- Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements, manage project documentation, progress tasks through Maximo and maintain accurate records within SharePoint.
- Support end users to resolve issues, manage complaints effectively and contribute to wider MoD objectives, including carbon reduction.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through clear communication, sound commercial decision‑making and ensure value for money.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience managing projects within a construction, engineering or FM environment.
- Experience leading teams to achieve KPIs, controlling costs and managing stakeholder relationships.
- HNC/HND (or equivalent experience) in a relevant engineering or building discipline.
- Management‑level Health & Safety qualification such as SMSTS.
- Strong IT skills; experience using CAFM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Membership of a relevant professional body (APM, RICS, MCIOB) desirable.
- Desirable experience within a defence or regulated environment.
- Proactive, organised and commercially aware with excellent communication skills.
