What You’ll Do
- Maintain and repair oil and LPG/gas boiler heating systems across RAF Lakenheath, Mildenhall, and Feltwell.
- Self‑schedule tasks via tablet, ensuring assets are compliant, energy‑efficient and operating within design parameters.
- Deliver both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs to meet strict service level agreements.
- Supervise contractors and sub‑contractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements.
- Support business continuity and keep plant rooms and technical spaces safe, tidy and operational.
- Work closely with colleagues and customers to provide a first‑class service.
What We’re Looking For
- Recognised Mechanical or Engineering qualification (HNC, ONC, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
- Experience with commercial oil‑fired boilers, gas systems and Gas Safe registration.
- Desirable: qualification and experience with LPG gas systems.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, Building Management Systems and safe electrical isolation.
- Ability to read schematics and accurately record work on digital systems.
- Flexible, team‑focused approach with excellent communication skills.
- Clearance: must obtain DBS and SC security clearance.
