Contract Details

  • Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
  • Location: RAF Croughton & RAF Barford St Johns
  • Working Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday with on call, 1 in 4 weeks maximum
  • Salary: Up to £41,000 depending on experience and qualifications

About the Role

If you are a skilled Electrician or Electrical Engineer, this is your opportunity to join a high-performing, client-facing team. Your expertise will support critical operations across two RAF sites, ensuring vital systems run efficiently and securely.

Your responsibilities include carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), responding to reactive callouts, completing compliance testing to JSP375 standards, and delivering minor installation works on commercial buildings. You will log reports digitally and participate in an out-of-hours callout rota, using company vehicles as needed.

What You’ll Need

Applicants must have City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 in Electrical Installation or equivalent, along with 2391 Testing & Inspection certification and experience in electrical maintenance in a commercial environment. Strong communication skills and health and safety knowledge are essential. Experience as an Authorised Person or Authorising Engineer is advantageous but not required. Certifications like PASMA and IPAF are a plus.
